Entry: Your Touch Friday, May 07, 2004

Hehehe, its time for my next poem and this time, I don't think it's very dark in comparison to my other poems.

YOUR TOUCH

Tender delicate caress
Sharp rough scratch
These touches
Are like candlelight
Its dim flickering flame
Once strong and fiery
Once shy and soft
Sometimes irresistible
Sometimes frightening
Merging safety and danger

I remember when you were near
When you touched me
Peacefulness was drifting away
Everything around me became unimportant

I still can't put away
All these lingering memories of you touch
I still can't leave you behind
I still feel like all past memories belong to you
Just like once I belonged to you
Piece of me is still with you
Just as a little part of your heart
Will be with me for the rest of my life
